EN 15593 STANDARD

According to the EN 15593 standard, food must be manufactured, packaged, put up for sale and distributed in a way that does not pose a threat to food health and safety on behalf of manufacturers involved in every process of food. At this point, food must be packaged within the scope of hygiene, packaging must be delivered to users safely.

 

With the EN 15593 standard, companies that manufacture packaging and packaging on behalf of food products must fulfill the requirements of the standard in order to prove that they are produced within the scope of hygiene conditions and to eliminate threats. In other words, the packaging and packaging of the ISO 15593 certificate is used to ensure the safety of the products. 

EN 15593 certificate; It is based on the requirements of ISO 22000 and ISO 9001 and covers packaging, hygiene requirements for packaging manufacturers and suppliers for food products. It includes hygiene conditions for both management system and packaging manufacturing companies.      

EN 15593, hygiene management in the food packaging industry is an internationally recognized standard. Specifies requirements for food packaging suppliers and manufacturers, including storage and transport. This standard is based on hazard assessment and risk analysis and carries out measurements on behalf of each level in the manufacturing stage, specifying the appropriate levels of control points. The requirements are so formulated that they can be easily integrated into management networks such as ISO 9001 and ISO 22000, although these guidelines can also function as neutral hygiene management networks.
