Turkish Standards Institute started to issue Halal Food Certificate in July of 2011.
Halal Food Standards The basic principles can be explained as follows:
- The concept of halal food means that food not only meets the requirements of religion, but also cleansing and
hygiene quality and compliance with human values.
- The concept of haram food is not only that foods do not comply with the requirements of religion, but also cleaning.
