The struggle with these problems has started in 1979 and the most important step has been the Kyoto Protocol made in 1997. The Kyoto Protocol has forced the companies that produce toxic gas to pay a price and aim to reduce the production of toxic gas.
ISO 14064 Greenhouse Gas Calculation and Verification Management System standards were published in 2006. The companies that produce gases that eliminate the greenhouse effect act in this way with a sense of responsibility and establish and operate the standards of this system. These companies can also obtain ISO 14064 Greenhouse Gas Calculation and Verification Management System Certificate if they wish.
The first step for companies that want to have this certificate is to go to a certification body. For this, a price survey is required beforehand. The proposals will be decided and a certification institution will be selected and certification studies will be started.
The second step of certification work is to fill out the application form to be obtained from this certification company. After all, all documents prepared during system installation are opened for inspection by the certification body.
The certification body carries out the pre-audit work through these documents. If he / she sees a missing or error, he / she requests the company to correct or complete them.
After this phase, the actual audit work begins. Inspections are initiated by the auditors in their respective fields of activity. Once these audits are completed, the auditors prepare a report.
