The company establishes a Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with the requirements of ISO / TS 16949 standard and audits the Quality Management System established by an independent and accredited certification body. If the audit is successful, the company's Quality Management System is certified. The certification period is 3 for years and the company is audited annually by the certification body.
The certification of ISO 16949 automotive sector quality management systems is only possible if the automotive sector quality management systems established by the organization pass the audit of an independent and accredited certification organization and ensure its continuity. After establishing the automotive industry quality management system to meet the requirements of the standard, the organization agrees with a certification body for certification of this system. The certification body conducts a certification audit to determine whether the organization's automotive industry quality system meets the requirements of the standard.
As a result of this audit, if the certification body decides that the established automotive sector quality system meets the requirements of the relevant standard sufficiently, it certifies the organization's automotive sector quality system. Following the certification of the organization's automotive sector quality system, the Certification Body conducts follow-up audits at specified intervals to determine whether the organization continues to meet the requirements of the standard. This certificate, which is given to the organization's automotive sector quality management systems, is actually the property of the certification body and has been lent to the organization for a certain period of time. As a result of these follow-up audits, the Certification Body may take back the certificate it has lent to the organization if it decides that the quality system of the automotive sector does not adequately meet the requirements of the standard.
The first 2015 monthly exports of the automotive supplier industry in 5 declined by 14 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. According to the report released by the Automotive Industry Association (OSD), the total exports of the sub-industry decreased to 3 billion 564,5 million dollars. In the same period, domestic and foreign tire exports decreased by 23 million percent, 398,1 million dollars, safety glass exports 19 million percent, 53,0 million dollars, engine exports 30 decreased, 53,1 million dollars, battery exports 25 million dollars with the largest export items. Exports of other components and parts declined by 79,8 to 12 billion dollars. Representatives of the sector stated that the fragility and sensitive structure experienced in the previous years has begun to leave its place to the automotive sector which can respond to market conditions. Nevertheless, it is underlined that the expected size in the domestic market has not been achieved in the last five years. The re-mobilization of the automotive industry in the global market, said Turkey's automotive industry and will show their effect on exports.
