As in the periodic controls of all pressure vessels and installations, regular inspections and inspections of industrial gas tanker tanks are described in the related standards provided that the criteria in the regulation of pressure equipment, the regulation of portable pressure equipment and the regulation of simple pressure vessels do not contradict the provisions of the aforementioned regulation. criteria. Industrial gas tanker tanks should in principle be subjected to hydrostatic testing. These tests must be carried out with 1,5 times the operating pressure and for periods not exceeding one year, unless otherwise stipulated in the standards. However, if hydrostatic testing cannot be carried out due to operating conditions or due to the characteristics of the tanks, non-destructive testing methods may be applied.
