In the design of electrical machines, it covers the fulfillment of the conditions in the machinery safety directive numbered 2006/42 / EC issued by the European Union in terms of the safety of electrical circuits in general. It explains the basic safety conditions required during the design and production of the machines that do not harm people's life and property safety when used for the purpose. The aforementioned regulation also explains the conformity assessment processes that should be followed and the minimum criteria to be considered in the selection of organizations that will conduct conformity assessment. They had problems with the machines and had an accident. People work with this concern and put their lives at risk. For these reasons, the machines should be inspected annually for their safety.
The Regulation defines the interchangeable parts of the machines, safety parts, lifting accessories, chains, ropes and belts, removable mechanical transmission devices and partially completed machines as machines. These controls should be carried out by mechanical engineers, machine technicians and high technicians. In another Regulation, Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment, the control periods of the machines, the criteria to be considered during the periodic controls and the related standards are included.
The machinery safety regulation issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, if it is properly established, regularly maintained and used in line with its intended purpose, does not harm human health and safety and goods. regulates the basic safety requirements for design and production. The Regulation also regulates the conformity assessment processes to be followed and the minimum criteria to be considered in the selection of notified bodies to conduct conformity assessment.
The description of the machine is also given in this regulation. Accordingly, interchangeable parts of machinery, safety parts, lifting accessories, chains, ropes and belts, detachable mechanical transmission devices and partially completed machines are referred to as machines.
The term "machines" means:
Except for partially completed machines
Equipped with a propulsion system other than man and animal power
A collection of parts assembled with a specific application
At least one of these parts is moving
No options for connecting to a source of energy or motion
Only capable of working when mounted on a transport vehicle or when installed in a building
Organized and controlled to operate as a whole
A partially completed machine is a collection of parts connected to another machine or a partially completed machine according to the regulation, but which cannot perform a particular application on its own.
