Grader is a work machine used for light scraping and road construction, along with grading, trench digging, curving, mixing, spreading, and laying the material to side. Graders are generally used in leveling works, ie ground leveling works. Thanks to the rippers, pickaxes and the blade in the middle part of the grader work machine, it can easily give the desired curvature to the ground, mixing the ground, leveling and stacking the material to the desired place. This machine, which can give the desired angle with the blade in the middle of the grader, can work on hard and shallow grounds. Graders are work machines that are generally used in road construction works and various constructions for the purpose of smoothing and cleaning the surface. Between the front and rear wheels of the grader, there is a mechanically or hydraulically operated blade that extends sideways. Graders used in soil leveling, ground loosening and similar works and in works such as ditching and slope correction on hard grounds that they can work, are effective machines even for snow fight.
Since it is used in many different applications, it is produced in different tonnages and specifications. However, regardless of brand and tonnage, the most common problem in grays is the difficulty of use. Grader operators are therefore very special and trained and experienced in different handling techniques. Operators from time to time may have to use several functions of graders at the same time. At the same time, he must constantly monitor the condition of the material laid or excavated. In this respect, the gradations are among the high-risk machines in terms of safety of life and property. On the other hand, in order to reduce these risks, periodic controls and inspections should be performed in a timely manner.
The Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment includes the minimum requirements for the health and safety of the construction machinery and equipment used in the workplace. Details of the Annex to this Regulation, Maintenance, Repair and Periodic Inspection (Annex 3) are provided. However, in each case, graders need to be checked regularly at least once a year.
Grader's inspections are subject to the "Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment" in accordance with the law numbered "6331". The controls made according to the standards and points specified in this regulation are in European standards. As TÜRCERT, within the framework of the Periodic Controls of Graders, the regular controls and inspections of the graders' machines are carried out in accordance with the relevant legal regulations, standards and test methods published by domestic and foreign organizations.
