These regulations regulate the principles for ensuring occupational health and safety in the workplaces and improving the existing health and safety conditions, while regulating the duties, powers, responsibilities, rights and obligations of employers and employees. In particular, the aforementioned regulation sets out the minimum requirements for the use of machinery and equipment used in the workplace in terms of health and safety. The Annex to the Regulation on Maintenance, Repairs and Periodic Inspections (Annex 3) describes the lifting and transmission equipment as well as the control criteria and control standards to be considered in these controls, as well as general explanations.
