The Mobile Work Platform, which can be upgraded, acts as a portable platform, as its name suggests. It can work by rising to the desired heights with a mobile work platform placed on a mobile van or a 4-wheel mechanism.
Lifting and conveying machines and equipments suitable for the requirements of the work performed are used in all enterprises, production areas and workshops. It is a legal obligation to have these equipment periodically checked and inspected. In accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, the Regulation on Health and Safety in the Use of Work Equipment published in the year 2013 also describes the minimum requirements to be observed in order to protect employee health and property safety.
Two types of platforms are generally used: Hanging access equipment and Mobile platforms. Suspended access platforms are platforms with rope system. It is permanently installed in construction or temporarily for special purposes. Columnar work platforms are also included in this group. Mobile platforms are mobile work platforms that can be upgraded. The load center of gravity of some of these is within the axes of the vertical projection and some of them are outside the tipping axes.
Mobile work platforms that can be upgraded are three types in terms of movement characteristics. Some of them can only move in the transport position. Some of them can be moved from a control point on the chassis. Some of them can be moved from the control point on the platform.
In accordance with the aforementioned regulation, control and inspection operations must be carried out by mechanical engineers, machine technicians or high technicians.
