At the beginning of the work to be carried out on organic agriculture, it is planned which type of organic production will be carried out in how much area, and an application is made to the Control and Certification Body (ORSER) within this plan.
The entrepreneur can do organic agriculture individually or as a producer group, company, union or cooperative. The applicant or legal entity fills the application form on our website and sends it to ORSER.
If the applicant (entrepreneur) is a group or legal entity (company, cooperative, association, etc.), this group leader or legal entity must make a contract with the producers who will engage in organic activities and send a copy of these contracts to ORSER before the contract is signed.
Following the signing of the contract prepared after the inspection, the transition period to organic agriculture will be initiated by ORSER depending on the product type and growing conditions.
The duration of this transition period; the location of the land, the type of product, whether the product is one-year or multi-year, the use of chemical pesticides and fertilizers in the previous years.
