Imission Gas Measurements

Clean air policies have been implemented in European Union countries, in our country and in many foreign countries. The purpose of these policies is to preserve the natural characteristics of the breathing air as much as possible and to ensure that the ambient air is at this natural level. For this reason, many official and private organizations collect data on emissions that cause air pollution and the effects of these emissions on human health, plants and all living beings, determine clean air strategies and develop models. team air pollutants move differently in the air. Gaseous pollutants can be transported over long distances depending on wind and climate conditions. The pollutants found in the solid state generally collapse near the source.

Although it makes life easier for the development of technology, it also creates a number of problems. In this respect, it is more important than ever to monitor receiving environments, to establish the infrastructure for this purpose, to conduct tests, measurements and analyzes related to environmental pollution and to ensure that these studies are organized regularly. Within this framework, our company also performs imission gas measurements within the scope of gas measurements. In these studies, the relevant legal regulations, standards and test methods published by domestic and foreign organizations are complied with.

By means of emission, there is a desire to describe all kinds of gases and particles that are mixed with ambient air through chemical processes and combustion processes. Gases emitted from the exhaust of a vehicle or gases emitted from the chimney of an enterprise are emissions. By imission is meant any gas and particles in the air, inhaled and measurable. A few parameters that are based on imitation measurements are:

  • Particulate matter in ambient air (PM10 and PM2,5 measurements)
  • Sulfur dioxide (SO2)
  • Nitrogen oxides (NOx)
  • Volatile organic compounds (VOC)
  • Methane (CH4) or non-methane hydrocarbon (NMHC)
  • Carbon monoxide (CO)
  • Ozone (O3)
  • Semi-volatile organics (PAH and the like)
  • Precipitation dust measurement
  • Long-term collapsed dust measurement
