Humidity is an important parameter in the life of people and especially employees. The effects of relative humidity in the air are quite high in terms of people's health and happiness. In industrial production, it is also important to set the humidity to be correct in many processes both in terms of product quality and in terms of saving energy consumption. Wherever the air vapor content of the air is effective on chemical, physical or biological processes, moisture must be continuously monitored.
Mainly in a clean and dry air environment, 78 contains nitrogen, 21 percent oxygen, 1 percent hydrogen, carbon dioxide and several other gases. In addition to these components, the air contains a certain amount of moisture. In simple terms, it consists of air, dry air and water vapor.
The moisture content in air or in a gas mass is expressed as relative humidity and absolute humidity. Relative humidity is a ratio between the actual partial vapor pressure in the air or gas and the vapor pressure at the highest. Relative humidity is actually a non-dimensional value and decreases when the temperature increases, and rises when the temperature decreases. Absolute humidity is the amount of water vapor present in a certain volume of air or gas. It is expressed in grams per cubic meter. Absolute humidity refers to the amount of water contained in air or gas, regardless of temperature, and the measurement of absolute humidity is of great importance in production processes.
The ratio of the water vapor mass in a gas to the dry gas mass is called the mixing ratio or the percentage of water content. This value indicates how many grams of water vapor is present in one kilogram of dry air. Determination of water content plays an important role in the implementation of production processes.
