Ambient Temperature Measurement

Usually the concepts of heat and temperature are mixed together. With a very easy example, a match flame cannot heat the room, but its temperature is three hundred degrees. In contrast, a radiator may be the whole room heating condition, but the outside temperature of the radiator is around 50-60. Before the temperature measuring devices were discovered, people could only know whether the objects were hot or cold by touching them, using only sensory organs. Briefly, the temperature can be estimated, but it is necessary to measure the temperature. The temperature of the objects with heat is high and the temperature of the objects losing heat is decreased. Galileo discovered the first instrument for temperature measurement at the end of the 1500 years. Temperature measuring devices are called thermometers. All thermometers used today are rated according to the freezing and boiling point of water. Today, the temperature unit is used in degrees Celsius. Fahrenheit temperature is also used in international standards. The melting of the ice is at 0 degrees Celsius or at + 32 degrees Fahrenheit. The boiling point of the water is at 100 centigrade degree or at 212 fahrenheit degree.

There are many dangers in work environments that physically affect employees. Some of these are visible and others are perceived dangers that cannot be measured without a device. Measurement must be made in order to determine the size of the risks posed by such hazards and to plan the measures to be taken. All of these measurements are called workplace environment measurement.

Workplace environment measurements are made in two parts as measurements made in the work environment and personal exposure measurements. The technical specifications are determined by the design engineers. Among these features, the accuracy of the thermometer is also found. During the design studies, the calibration requirements of the thermometer are also determined. Calibration process must be performed by authorized technicians.

The human body has the ability to maintain its temperature at a level that does not change immediately within certain periods. There are two reasons for this. The first reason is that the body works metabolically and produces heat in the state of rest and work. The second reason is the exchange of heat between the body and the body in a positive or negative way, depending on respiration, sweat evaporation and the physical conditions of the environment. The main condition for the efficient work of people, especially in work environments, is to maintain normal body temperature. This is referred to as thermal comfort. Air temperature, humidity and air flow rate are important parameters to ensure thermal comfort.

Our company also performs ambient temperature measurements within the scope of gas measurements. In these studies, the relevant legal regulations, standards and test methods published by domestic and foreign organizations are being followed. Meanwhile, our organization has been accredited by Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRCERT) in accordance with TS EN ISO / IEC 17025 standard.

Certification

The firm, which provides auditing, supervision and certification services to internationally recognized standards, also provides periodic inspection, testing and control services.
