3. Party Inspection

What is 3.

In order to check whether an enterprise's products or services or facilities are in compliance with international standards and technical specifications of customers during or after the production is completed, the third party is responsible for the technical testing, control, evaluation and reporting services performed by independent and impartial organizations and expert technical personnel. called party inspection services.

The most demanding of these services are the companies that import and export, contracting companies that do international business, leasing companies, companies that buy products and materials from Turkey, and the operators and maintenance units of industrial plants.

Third-party inspection services are provided in line with the needs and expectations of customers and there is no standardized service. Based on the criticality of the product, this service is provided at different levels of control and inspection, from the control and inspection of the entire product to the sampling method. Surveillance frequencies are also shaped according to the demands of the customers. In this way, third party services are provided in parallel with the needs of the enterprises and when necessary.

Compliance checks and inspections for all products manufactured in various sectors are provided in an independent and impartial manner within the framework of relevant standards and customer instructions. Third party inspection and inspection services are carried out on-site after installation work is completed on products requiring assembly.

Third Party Conformity Assessments in Food Producers

Foodstuffs are not only in our country but also in the whole world. Today, consumers are rightly concerned about the health, quality and reliability of the consumed products because of their inability to effectively control due to production speed and diversity, complexity of production activities and limited capacity of the authorities. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out additional controls of foodstuffs independent of the controls to be carried out by official authorities. Because of the frequent foodborne diseases and epidemics, businesses operating in the food industry want to prove that their products are healthy and reliable and that they comply with the legal regulations in force and the standards issued by domestic and foreign organizations.

This situation, which puts businesses under pressure, reveals the importance of independent and independent audits. Not only the food producing companies but also the big retailer companies that play an important role in the food trade are asking the producers, producers or packaging suppliers they work with to prove that they produce reliable and high quality food through certain standards.

Such audit activities are sometimes carried out by their own audit teams established by large manufacturers or retailer companies. However, most of the time it is undertaken by the inspection bodies or inspection bodies that provide conformity assessment services. This second group of organizations undertakes third party inspection services.

Third-party inspection bodies perform these inspections in two ways. The first way is to serve on the basis of agreement conditions, rules, criteria or special sets of standards provided by the organization they serve. The aim is to determine the extent to which the obligations are fulfilled under the agreement between the service provider and its suppliers. The second way is to determine if the supplier companies have established certain management systems and if they operate within certain standards. A third-party inspection service is provided to demonstrate to a third eye the extent to which suppliers are loyal to their management system documentation or product standard documentation.

As a matter of fact, official institutions cannot be expected to control all food operations in the country within the framework of the existing legal regulations on food security. However, conformity assessment studies conducted by third-party inspection bodies ensure that all companies on the food chain comply with internationally accepted food safety regulations and industry standards. Naturally, these suppliers have become more qualified food suppliers.

Third Party Inspection in Organic Agriculture Activities

Organic farming activities are also subject to third party audits. Organic farming activities require the production of products to be controlled and monitored within the framework of a certain legal regulation. In other words, it is necessary to determine whether the organic farming activities are carried out in accordance with the relevant regulations. In the meantime, regular records should be kept, results should be reported, and if necessary, this quality of organic products should be determined by laboratory tests and analyzes.

In our country, organic agriculture activities are managed by the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock within the framework of legal regulations prepared on the basis of European Union directives. According to the law, all stages of organic products, from sowing and production to delivery to consumers, must be checked and documented. According to legal regulations, this responsibility is fulfilled by natural or legal persons authorized by the Ministry. These organizations are third-party inspection bodies. Today, more than twenty organizations are authorized to operate as third party control organizations.

Third Party Inspection in Foreign Trade Transactions

The third party conformity assessment and inspection activities are carried out to determine the accuracy of the quality, quantity, customs classification and similar criteria of food commodities subject to foreign trade and to carry out all kinds of surveillance activities. In the current legislation, these organizations are referred to as international surveillance companies. In the third party inspection and inspection works carried out by these companies, the inspection and inspection procedures such as loading and unloading inspection, quality control, weight inspection, production company control, document control and sample taking are performed. The function of third-party organizations is to ensure that there are no problems between the buyer and the seller and resolve any disputes. The job is to determine whether the product complies with the contract. The third party inspection bodies undertaking this business in our country provide this service based on the Decree on Standardization Regime and Technical Regulations in Foreign Trade published in 2005.
