Periodic Inspection of Seine Crane

One of the most important problems in working life is occupational accidents. The number of occupational accidents in developed countries is lower than in underdeveloped or underdeveloped countries. Although there is a decrease in the number of occupational accidents in our country, this ratio is still high when compared with the developed countries. The causes of occupational accidents at workplaces are very diverse. Among these, the number of accidents caused by the machines used is significant. These machines are sometimes used incorrectly, sometimes because they are used by unqualified people, but often because of regular maintenance, inspection and inspection are not occupational accidents. In this context, cranes cause serious work accidents.

Cranes for lifting heavy loads and transporting them to another location have been used since the first people. The first crane painting was found in a book written by a Roman architect in the tenth century BC.

Cranes are classified mainly based on their driving forces and capacities. They are also classified according to where they are used and where they work, or according to the work they will do, or the energy sources they need to work with.

Purse seine cranes are mainly used in construction and used to lift lighter loads than mobile cranes and tower cranes. There are hangers or floor-controlled versions. High capacity purse seine cranes can carry loads up to an average of 400 kg.

Since purse seine cranes also carry heavy loads, they are legally considered among the machines that are at risk for human health and property safety. In the Regulation on Health and Safety in the Use of Work Equipment, purse seiners are handled in the group of lifting and conveying machines. These cranes must have the power to lift and suspend at least 1,25 times the declared load.
